Metropolitan College/UPS Program

Metropolitan College is a Kentucky partnership between UPS and the University of Louisville*. Participating students attending the University of Louisville are eligible for full undergraduate Kentucky resident tuition for coursework passed with a "C-" or better. In addition, Metropolitan College/UPS participants are eligible for fee payments and academic completion bonuses.

To fulfill the program's mission of assisting students to integrate their academic, work and personal lives, Metropolitan College has a team of Student Development Counselors who assist students with a wide array of support services designed to enhance student success in the workplace, in the classroom and in their future careers.

*Please note: One of the following specific admission criteria must be met for UofL:

  1. 3.0 or higher cumulative high school GPA and 21 or higher ACT score
  2. 3.3 or higher cumulative high school GPA if no test score is submitted
  3. An associate's degree
  4. 60 transferable credit hours

Filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an important first step for students seeking federal, state and institutional financial aid. The FAFSA will be available in December 2023 at FAFSA.gov.
