Office of Diversity and Inclusion

The University of Louisville School of Medicine offers academic enrichment programs for minority and rural students to help prepare for a future as a health care professional. For more information regarding these programs, please review the Office of Diversity and Inclusion site.

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion also offers a FREE six-week summer enrichment program for freshman and sophomore undergraduate students who are interested in a career in medicine or dentistry. The Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP) is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. In addition to the SMDEP program, a MCAT/DAT Training Conference for undergraduates is also offered through the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
