Estate Planning and Elder Law Program

The Estate Planning and Elder Law (EPEL) Program helps to connect students, professionals and members of the community in confronting important issues of succession, long-term care and end-of-life planning.

EPEL is powered by students and guided by an advisory board made up of local practitioners. Professor Goldburn P. Maynard Jr. serves as faculty liaison.

EPEL funds student fellows for their three years of law school. These fellows identify and research problems affecting Kentucky seniors and help activate the legal community toward real, sustained solutions.
