The Associate Dean for Research is responsible for providing leadership and expert mentorship in all aspects of research. Areas of responsibility include coordinating CEHD research activities, including supporting faculty research, publication, training for proposal and research writing and compliance requirements. Assist faculty in identifying external support opportunities, coordinating submissions and managing research programs, assistantships, and awards. Must have successful record of proposal writing, acquisition of externally-funded research grants and contracts, and publications. Extensive knowledge of federal and other appropriate funding sources for CEHD project activities, and policies relating to human subjects protection are required.
