WGS launches 100% online B.A. degree

Students can now obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies entirely online. This online program, that started in summer 2018, allows students to complete the BA at their own pace with a flexible schedule. Students pursuing the online degree will have access to many of the same classes offered on campus, taught by the same faculty. In addition to the core curriculum, students can choose from a wide range of electives in an area of specific interest to them, such as Queer Politics, Women in American Politics, Reproductive Justice and the Law, Women and Folklore, Women and Hip-Hop, Gender and Popular Music, and Gender and Children’s Literature. Fully online minors available in conjunction with the BA include Communication, Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Psychology. As in the on-campus degree, class sizes are small, ensuring that every student receives individual learning and advising support.
