KY-MEPs Catalyst Equipment Match (CEM) has helped Kentucky manufacturers realize their ‘next level’ goals through an up to 50% reimbursement on capital equipment/technology investment.

Sharpening Kentucky Manufacturing's Competitive Edge

Investing in new technologies like automation, robotics and additive manufacturing can give Kentucky manufacturing businesses a significant edge. The match supported a wide range of equipment, including(*):

  • Newer manufacturing technologies: CNC machines, robots and industrial control systems (ICS)
  • Smart manufacturing technologies: Additive manufacturing (3D printing), collaborative robots (cobots), big data/analytics tools, machine learning/visioning and AI.

*Funding for CEM ran from July 1, 2024 through June 30th 2026. As of today, there are no funding opportunities until appropriation of funding is reinstated.
