Entrepreneurship Initiatives

The University of Louisville has a number of initiatives and programs aimed at energizing the local and regional entrepreneurship ecosystem and transferring ideas from universities to market. Some of these programs include:

LOUISVILLE LEAP 

The Louisville Entrepreneurship Acceleration Programs, or LEAP, offers resources, including educational series, networking events and mentorship opportunities tailored for healthcare startups of all stages. LEAP is a partnership between the Louisville Healthcare CEO Council and UofL. More information is available here.

APMLIFY

Amplify Louisville is a place for startups and founders to explore ideas, build solutions, launch products, and grow businesses. Amplify offers a number of resources for entrepreneurs, including events, guides to capital and co-working spaces, and a jobs board. KENTUCKY COMMERCIALIZATION VENTURES (KCV)

Kentucky Commercialization Ventures (KCV) leverages the power of Kentucky's Carnegie Research-1 universities, UofL and the University of Kentucky, to help the states other schools pursue technology transfer and commercialization. The idea is to use earned experience and infrastructure to move innovations from Kentucky's higher education institutions to market. KCV is a partnership between Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation (KSTC), the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, UK and UofL. More information is available here.
