Audition Information & Requirements

Fall/Spring 2022 applicants: Website is being updated. Check back here at the end of September for updated audition information. We do plan on hosting in-person auditions. Audition registration will become available in October.


Please read this entire page as it has important information regarding audition/portfolio requirements.

To complete a graduate application to the University, please visit the following website: http://louisville.edu/graduate. 

In order to be considered for music scholarships and assistantships, performance/pedagogy applicants must complete the application by February 15. For Music Composition and Music Theory, the portfolio must be submitted by January 15. For Music History portfolio must be submitted by February 1.
