Please read this entire page as it has important information regarding audition/portfolio requirements.

To complete a graduate application to the University, please visit the following website: http://louisville.edu/graduate. You must submit an application to the University before registering for an audition. Once you apply, an audition registration form will become available via your application portal.  

In order to be considered for music scholarships and assistantships, performance/pedagogy applicants must complete the application by February 15. For Music Composition and Theory, the portfolio must be submitted by January 15. For Music History, the application and writing sample must also be submitted by January 15. For more information about scholarships please visit our scholarship page: http://louisville.edu/music/apply/graduate/scholarships

AUDITION/PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS

If you have applied to the jazz composition/arranging program, you will need to submit a portfolio of work directly to Dr. Gabriel Evens. He can be reached at: 502.852.7075 or Email.

If you have applied for a conducting degree, you will need to coordinate your conducting audition with the appropriate faculty listed below.
