Our Student Fellows were active at the Muhammad Ali Center's "Day of Dignity" in February 2015. Fellows worked to survey members of the community regarding their experiences accessing medical, legal, and social services. They also widely distributed copies of a Resource Guide prepared to help the community better find and access services. They presented to the community about the work of the Fellowship and our preliminary findings regarding how service providers can best work with the immigrant, noncitizen, refugee community.
These Fellows also presented a PowerPoint to attendees that included more information about the Human Rights Advocacy Program and solicited further feedback.
