Information Regarding 2023 W-2s

Each year, employees receive a Form W-2 that provides details of the prior year's earnings, taxes withheld and other taxable data.

For tax year 2023, the University of Louisville printed hard copies of these forms and mailed to most employees. The 2023 W-2s were mailed via the United States Postal Service (USPS) on January 25^th to the home address in Workday as of 12/31/23.

If you do not receive your W-2 via USPS mail by February 10, 2024, please email Payroll Services. A duplicate printed copy of your W-2 can be made available to active employees after February 15, 2024. A duplicate printed copy, must be picked up in-person with a valid university ID from Payroll Services, located on the 2nd floor of the Service Complex, Rm 212/223. Please contact Payroll Services at (502) 852-2978 to request this service.

All active employees can view and print W-2 from Workday immediately. To do so:

• Go to your profile in Workday.
• Select “Benefits and Pay” icon.
• Select “My Tax Documents” from the top menu.
• Click on the View/Print option.
• Once selected, there may be a pop-up with "Your request is being processed." Your W-2 will appear shortly thereafter. 
• You may download or print your W-2.
