About the ITCP program

The University of Louisville’s Digital Transformation Center presents the Information Technology Certification Pathways (ITCP) — a fully online program designed to help you build technical skills and earn industry-recognized certifications. Whether you're just getting started or looking to level up, ITCP provides the tools, resources, and support to help you succeed in IT and cybersecurity.

GI Bill® eligibility for reimbursement

Eligible individuals who qualify for VA education benefits, including Chapter 33 (Post-9/11) and Chapter 35 (Dependents Education Assistance), may be entitled to reimbursement for select preparatory courses offered through the IT Certification Pathways.

These preparatory courses help students prepare for certification exams, include the exam voucher and must be paid for upfront by the student. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and is subject to individual VA eligibility.

  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+

Enroll in a preparatory course

Choose one of the VA-approved preparatory courses offered through the IT Certification Pathways. 

  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+

You must pay upfront for the course at the time of enrollment.

Complete the course

After successfully completing the course, you will receive a letter of completion and a voucher to take the certification exam.

Submit your reimbursement request to the VA

Once the course is completed, you can apply to the VA for reimbursement of the prep course cost.
