BMI Fellow
Black Male Initiative Fellows
As a BMI Fellow you will have the opportunity to develop leadership and communication skills in a professional setting. Fellows will discover how to frame the UofL Black male experience from a journalistic lens. We are looking for students who have a passion for the following fields:
Advancement of Black men
Photography
Journalism
Film
Communication
Writing
BMI Fellows are expected to fully participate in the Black Male Initiative and events organized by the Program Coordinator. There will be an attendance policy to be present for at least two BMI events per semester. Fellows are expected to model scholarship, leadership and service during their tenure.

Professional development
Promote success and growth of Black Male students
As a BMI Fellow I will:
Attend 2-3 coaching sessions with the BMI Program Coordinator
Actively engage in content creation for BMI
Maintain open communication with BMI Administrators and other BMI Fellows
