Alcohol research highlights at the 2023 DiscoverBMB
Our students and stuff susesfully presernted ULARC project at the DiscoverBMB meeting in Seattle on March 25-28, 2023.
Dr. Josiha Hardesty gave an oral presentation "Characterization of a novel pre-clinical model of alcohol-associated hepatitis: association between compromised liver regeneration and cardiolipin synthesis" at the DiscoverBMB Spotlight Session.
Two more projects, "Inhibition of Soluble Epoxide Hydrolase Altered Gut Barrier Function and Gut Microbial Diversity in a Mouse Model of Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease" and "An engineered bacteria expressing an n3-fatty acid desaturase altered polyunsaturated fatty acid levels in mice" were presented as poster presentations.
