Built in 1886, Jouett Hall is the third oldest building on
Belknap Campus. This building also was part of the House of
Refuge. Jouett Hall currently houses the Office of Graduate Programs and Research
Administration,which includes the dean's office for the graduate
school. Recently classified as a Research II university by the Carnegie
Foundation, U of L offers advanced academic programs in 75 areas at the
master's level and 21 doctoral programs.
Brodschi Hall
Brodschi Hall is home to the university's International Studies Program
and the International Center. The International Studies Program
establishes programs in other countries for students from the United
States who wish to study abroad. The International Center works with
students from other countries who have chosen to pursue their education at
U of L. The center provides services to the university's international
students by matching them with host families and assisting them during
their stay.
Oppenheimer Hall
Oppenheimer Hall houses the Kent School of Social Work. The Kent School
offers programs in fields such as aging, children and families,
comprehensive health and mental health. Kent School students provide more
than $1 million in pro-bono service to Kentucky each year.
