The University of Louisville has contracted with five partner agencies to assist with marketing and creative services available to campus. The Office of Communications and Marketing led a committee of UofL marketing colleagues through an extensive RFP process, in accordance with university policy and as required by Kentucky procurement law, to select the five agencies.
Multiple agencies were selected to provide departments across campus flexibility in choosing a partner for projects. All of the agencies are highly respected in the fields of higher education, market research, creative services, digital marketing, video services and more. OCM is excited for the campus to work with each of the partners, and is confident in the services offered.
UofL’s five partner agencies for 2017-18 are:
- Chris Herring, director of digital marketing
- Nick Verbeten, VP, account director
- Cathy Predmore, executive account director
- Simpson Scarborough
- Renee Daly, senior consultant
- Tim Sanford, president and senior writer
Departments should contact OCM for project consultation prior to contacting an agency partner. A step-by-step guide is available below.
The individual contracts for each of the agencies include a spending cap approved by the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission (LRC). The spending cap is for the entire university, not individual departments or projects. In order to properly monitor and maintain that spending cap, OCM must be notified in advance of planned agency work for individual department projects.
