Primary Color Palette
Primary colors are those most closely linked to UofL from a brand-recognition standpoint.
Color chips are presented in PantoneĀ®, CMYK, RGB and hexadecimal values (web). These are all the primary colors for use with relevant UofL applications.
Notes
- UofL Yellow is to be used only in the Cardinal icon for full color usage. Regardless of color, it is important that all marks and text are legible.
- Primary colors (UofL Red) are not allowed to be tinted or shaded. Full color values must be used at all times for these primary colors.
- When printing offset, certain small elements in a design (e.g. UofL logos) will be difficult to reproduce using the Rich Black value above. It is recommended that Rich Black values in these cases be changed to standard black as part of a prepress workflow.
