The Survivor Clinic, brainchild of Dr. Rajeev Bais of the University of
Louisville Division of Infectious Diseases, works to provide
comprehensive medical and psychological care to survivors of torture.
The James Graham Brown Cancer Center has been recognized as one of only 21 cancer programs across the nation, and the only cancer program in Kentucky, that has maintained their accreditation for at least 65 consecutive years (starting in 1948).
The Commission on Cancer released a report this month that honors this milestone of consistent quality for cancer programs across the country.
