Glenn D. Bossmeyer is Associate University Counsel at the University of Louisville and has been an attorney with the University for eighteen years.  Prior to that he was an attorney and assistant secretary at Humana Inc. for twenty-two years, for a total of forty years practice as a health care attorney.  During his tenure at Humana, he represented Humana in the lease and affiliation agreement of University Hospital with the University, and has therefore been involved with the Health Sciences Center since the affiliation agreement and lease were signed on January 27, 1983.

His educational background includes graduating from Christ the King Elementary School and Flaget Memorial High School in Louisville, Kentucky.  He attended the University of Louisville, graduating from the School of Business as valedictorian with a B.S.C. degree and a major in accounting, from the School of Law with a J.D. degree, and from the Graduate School with a M.B.A. degree.

His professional qualifications include having passed the Uniform Certified Public Account Examination (Ky.), being a licensed Real Estate Broker in Kentucky, and being admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as well as before the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, the 6th United States Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
