Louisville, KY - The University of Louisville School of Nursing will host the Southern Nursing Research Society conference February 19-21, at the Kentucky International Convention Center. The conference brings together nursing researchers from throughout the southern region of the United States.
The Southern Nursing Research Society was established to promote dissemination and utilization of research findings among nursing researchers in the south. The annual conference is typically attended by more than 300 nurse researchers.
The three-day conference will feature a variety of symposia and workshops presented by nursing researchers. Many U of L faculty researchers will participate in and lead sessions during the conference. In addition to faculty, both undergraduate and graduate nursing students will present posters during the research poster competition.
Members of the Southern Nursing Research Society come from 14 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. Members also come from the Bahamas, Latin America and the Caribbean.
