We are listed as building #55b HSC Instructional Building in grid 2C on the attached map.  Refer to the map Legend to find the location of two free parking areas with a Belknap Parking Permit.   Pay parking is available on nearby streets at parking meters and at the Chestnut Street Parking Structure show on the map in grid 4C, #54e.

From the south

I-65 north-bound, coming from Elizabethtown, Bowling Green:

1. Take Exit 136 C - Muhammad Ali.
2. At first stop light, turn right on Floyd Street.
3. Go one block and turn right on Liberty Street.
4. Go one block and turn right on Preston Street.
5. School of Medicine is at 500 South Preston. The Instructional Building is on the right. 
6. For parking, turn left at the light on East Chestnut to park in Patient/Visitor Section of UofL Parking Garage.

7. Pay parking meters (short term) are available in the area and  may be used at $0.25 per 12 minutes.

From the north

I-65 south-bound, coming from Indianapolis:

1. Take Exit 136 C (1st exit off I-65S) - Jefferson Street
2. Ramp splits into two directions. Exit onto Jefferson Street.
3. Go one block on Jefferson Street and turn left on First Street.
4. Go one block. Turn left on Liberty Street.
5. Go three blocks and turn right on Preston Street.
6. Follow Preston Street one block to the School of Medicine on the right, 500 S. Preston St. The Instructional Building is on the right.

From the east

I-64 west-bound, coming from Lexington:

1. When downtown Louisville is in sight, merge to I-65 SOUTH.
2. Follow I-65 SOUTH directions listed above.

From the west

I-64 east-bound, coming from Owensboro, Evansville:

1. When downtown Louisville is in sight, merge to I-65 SOUTH.

From the north (I-71)
