Preventing Transmission Of Infections
This unique educational module focuses on the modes of disease transmission, explaining the ways diseases or organisms move from one individual to another. The module also examines the relationship between standard precautions and transmission-based precautions, and emphasizes how these precautions can help protect both the patient and the healthcare personnel from the exposure to an infection.
