Course Description and Target
Audience
The session will begin with the film "Southern Comfort." This is a documentary of the real life story of Robert Eads, who died of ovarian cancer because he could not find a doctor willing to treat a transgendered individual. It will explore the social and emotional challenges individuals of vulnerable populations face each day. Discussion of the film will follow its viewing.
