Course Description and Target
Audience
Advances in Neurology is an educational conference sponsored by the University of Louisville Department of Neurology. It is held in tandem with the semi-annual Commonwealth Neurological Society meeting. The course will be held in debate, “clinical crossfire” format, with University of Louisville neurology faculty and University of Kentucky neurology faculty debating on current topics of particular interest to practicing clinical neurologists.
The target audience includes healthcare professionals in the following specialties: Neurologists (community and academic), Nurse practitioners, Psychologists, Family practice physicians, Internal medicine specialists and all other healthcare professionals interested in this subject.

Participants are welcome to park in the Longfield
Parking Lot located at Parking Gate 10 off of Longfield Avenue. Parking
is free and available on a first come, first served basis. The
Longfield Parking Lot also features handicapped parking, subject to
availability, and valet parking for $5 per car. For additional

1) Evaluate and properly manage the patient with epilepsy.
2) Diagnose and manage Critical Illness Neuromuscular Disorders.
3) Evaluate and manage pediatric patients with migraine and/or related headache disorders.
4) Explore the future direction of neurology.
