Course Description and Target
Audience
This multi-disciplinary conference will allow its participants to gain a greater understanding and knowledge about the individualized treatment of thoracic malignancies for diverse population of patients. Each year, more is learned about the advancements in medicine and technology and how this will impact the way healthcare professionals work together to improve individualized patient care.
The physicians of the Thoracic Oncology Clinic at the Brown Cancer Center at the University of
Louisville are full-time faculty who will share their knowledge about the latest advances in their
respective fields.
This course is designed for Physicians in the following specialties: Primary Care, Medical Oncology,
Radiation Oncology and Pulmonary Medicine; also, Nurses & Nurse Practitioners.
