MissionThe mission of University of Louisville's Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development Program is to assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in the translation, diffusion, and application of evidence-based knowledge in order to change competence, professional performance and/or patient outcomes.
The purpose of the University of Louisville Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development Program is to collaborate with the CME&PD "community," which includes U of L faculty, clinical departments, Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's Healthcare Inc., Area Health Education Centers in Kentucky, and other state and national entities, to identify educational needs and to design, deliver, evaluate and document educational activities and initiatives in order to improve healthcare delivery.
