Compliance Education Division
It is the HSC Office of Compliance’s duty to prevent, detect and deter compliance “wrong doing”. We feel education plays a significant role in this prevention. Whether it is coordinating HSC wide on-line training or educating a single individual, the education “team” will continue to strive to better serve the educational needs of the providers and staff of U of L Health Sciences Center.
Our current education division is composed of:
· Teresa Bivens, CPC, CHC – Deputy Compliance Officer/Education Manager
· CheRee Whitlow – Compliance Education Specialist
By keeping the HSC informed of new regulations, providing quality training and education, being customer service friendly and consolidating educational training obligations into single “training sessions”, the education “team” will continue to “reach for the next rung of the ladder” and meet each new compliance educational challenge with excellence in mind.
