Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness is all about paying attention -- learning to spend more time focused on what's happening in the present moment, in an open and accepting manner. One major source of stress is being preoccupied with events of the past or future we have no control over. You can help manage stress by living more fully in the present. This one and a half hour program will introduce some simple mindfulness practices that you can incorporate into daily life to be more attentive to life on a moment-by-moment basis. Mindfulness-based stress reduction was originally developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and is now taught on a world-wide basis.
