Battling Imposter Syndrome
Feel like everyone else knows what they are doing except you? Ever worry that you are in your career position because of luck? Then you may have "impostor syndrome." While not a literal disorder, impostor syndrome describes the tendency for individuals to feel like "fakes" in their careers and attribute their successes to external causes instead of their own abilities and skills. While a fairly common experience, impostor syndrome can limit forward movement in your career. This workshop will provide information about the impostor syndrome symptoms of thinking, as well as ways to combat self-sabotaging behaviors fueled by feeling like a fake.
