Peer Advisors

The purpose of the Peer Advisor Program is to provide support for first year and exploratory student in their transition to college. Peer Advisors guide, support, and advise students within the College of Arts and Sciences to help make their academic career a successful experience.

C.O.N.E.C.T. Peer Mentoring Program

The Purpose of C.O.N.E.C.T. is to provide student support through peer advising for the encouragement of positive academic and social interactions, and promote a unified community among Black students which work to impact on Black student retention as well as encourage high academic standards, enhance leadership development, and perpetuate academic and social success to achieve graduation.

UofL Quiz Bowl Team

Quiz Bowl team members

The UofL Quiz Bowl team competes in various academic competitions throughout the state and country. The format is similar to standard academic team competitions and involves questions covering a range of academic disciplines and subjects. The team competes both in traditional academic competitions and pop culture tournaments, in addition to hosting several high school competitions each year.
