Arts & Sciences Advising Center
A team of professional counselors, peer advisors, and support staff look forward to assisting you throughout your academic career in the College. At A&S Advising we offer a comprehensive array of services, designed to help you realize your personal, academic, and career goals.
*Please note: dates and times listed apply only to the A&S Advising Center for Advising and Student Services in Gardiner Hall.
Advising is available by appointment -- please call 852-5502.
We want to encourage students who are approved in the following majors to contact their department to be advised: Justice Administration, Biology, English, Theatre Arts, and Fine Arts.
All Arts and Sciences students who have completed 45 or more hours and who have not formally applied for and been accepted into a major program, and all approved Mathematics, Philosophy and Theatre Arts majors are required to be advised before they can register for courses. Students meeting the criteria listed on the Registration Advising Procedures site also need to be advised.
If you have been accepted as a major, you will be advised by your departmental advisor; call your department to find out what their advising schedule is.
You may check your student account through ULink to see if there are any holds on your account such as an advising requirement, financial hold or unpaid parking ticket.
New transfer students should call 852-5502 and ask about available appointments. Please bring a copy of the most recent transcript and/or the Student Transfer Evaluation received from the U of L Transfer Services office.
