Upper Division Pre-Placement Dental Hygiene
This program is for students interested in dental hygiene. Accepted students who have completed program requirement are guaranteed admission to the competitive upper-division program. Five spaces are reserved for high school seniors who will be first-time freshmen, and five spaces are reserved for lower-division dental hygiene freshmen who complete and excel in the first semester. Students must maintain a cumulative and science GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Upper Division Applicants must:
- 25 ACT or 1130 SAT (CR + M)
- 3.0 GPA
- Letter of recommendation from high school guidance counselor
- One essay on why you are interested in a dental hygiene career (500 words or less)
- Documentation showing 12 hours of dental/dental hygiene practice observation
