Women's Center EMPOWERED Leaders Program
Women’s Center EMPOWERED Leaders Program
Purpose
The Women’s Center EMPOWERED Leaders Program provides a variety of student group programs, professional development workshops and volunteer opportunities to equip you with professional development, personal empowerment, and awareness of diversity and cultural issues. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain new perspectives and self awareness and engage in critical thinking by reflecting on your experience.
Program Details
As part of the Women’s Center EMPOWERED Leaders Program, participants will attend events to gain professional development, personal empowerment, and awareness of diversity and cultural issues while also reflecting on these experiences. If desired, you may meet with one of our program coordinators each semester to check in on your goals and how we can help you best develop as a leader. Whether you identify as female or not, we encourage you to participate! These issues don’t just affect women. They impact all of us.
This program is designed for all UofL students, spans over the academic calendar and explores topics and events ranging from Resume and Leadership Skills to Self-Confidence and Owning Your Brand to Pathways Leadership Conference. Participants self-select their programs to accommodate their schedule, personal interests and professional goals.
