Women's Center 2025-2026 Scholarships Deadline: March 1, 2025 by 11:59pm Criteria for use of the scholarship(s) will be as follows:
Dr. Ann T. Allen Scholarship The Ann T. Allen Scholarship is for current University of Louisville undergraduate students and the annual amount to be awarded is approximately $1,000 to students who meet the additional criteria.
Elaine Cissy Musselman Scholarship Recipients will receive a one-time award of $500.00.
UofL Gender Equality Scholarship Recipients will receive a one-time award of $1,000.
This one-time $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to four (4) students who meet the criteria.
Women’s Club of the University of Louisville Lelia Sublett Scholarship Recipients will receive a one-time award of $1,000. The original fund was established in honor of long-time club member Lelia Sublett and her commitment to supporting the club’s mission by hosting her Creative Cooking events.
Women’s Club of the University of Louisville Minority Single Parent Scholarship Two (2) undergraduate students will be awarded $5,500 each. In recognition of the need to support those in financial need within underrepresented communities, it is the donor's strong preference to support single parents within minority populations giving first consideration to single mothers of African American descent.

The Women's Center Student Support Fund was created to assist UofL students who encounter a short-term emergency or have a need related to educational expenses including but not limited to tuition, fees, research, and books. |
This award is given to UofL graduate students for travel or other professional development needs apart from tuition or books. It is named in honor of M. Celeste Nichols--student, scholar, mentor, and professor. She was the first African American to receive a Ph.D. from UofL’s English Department. Dr. Nichols taught African- American literature and basic writing at UofL, Kentucky State University and at Bellarmine University before her death in 1996 at age 45. This award is given with generous support from the Women's Center, George J. Howe Student Leadership Fund & the University of Louisville English Department. Deadline: December 1st 11:59pm. |
