Wyatt names Williamson ('11) new partner
The partners of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP have approved the election of Sean Williamson, a 2011 graduate of the McConnell Scholars Program, as a partner in the firm.
“We are pleased to announce that Sean Williamson has been promoted in the firm," said Franklin Jelsma, the firm’s managing partner. "He is an excellent lawyer who has distinguished himself with exemplary work on complex matters making this an easy decision. Furthering the firm’s tradition of service, he is also active in professional and civic organizations.”
Williamson has been the head coach of the McConnell Center's undergraduate moot team since 2018 and has led several teams to national competition.
Williamson is a member of Wyatt's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Service Team, where he represents clients in complex commercial disputes, and works closely with the firm’s Intellectual Property Protection & Litigation Service Team, assisting businesses and innovators with the protection of valuable, competitive information, such as trade secrets and non-competition issues.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and is admitted to practice law in Kentucky.
