Ball to attend Harvard conference
Jeremy Ball, a 2017 McConnell Scholar, was one of 53 students nationwide selected to participate in the Harvard Kennedy School’s Public Policy and Leadership Conference. The four-day conference will be held Feb. 19-22 in Cambridge. More than 400 students applied from over 100 different colleges and universities.
The conference caters to those with a commitment to public service and includes a series of distinguished speakers, policy workshops and exposure to public service fellowships and future careers.
Ball is a sophomore who majors in political science and liberal studies with minors in economics and history at the University of Louisville. He is a National Coca-Cola Scholar and the recipient of the University of Louisville Outstanding Freshman Award. He is a member of Beta Theta Pi and has served as an SOSer and Freshman LEAD member. Ball is a 2013 graduate of Clay County High School.
