ASL Placement
American Sign Language (ASL) Placement Test at the University of Louisville
ASL classes at the University of Louisville may not be equivalent to courses you have taken at other locations. The ASL Placement Test gauges your American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency and determines the suitable ASL class level for you. The ASLPT consists of a receptive examination involving the viewing of videos and providing correct answers. It evaluates understanding of ASL grammar, production, and semantics.
NOTE: If you are planning to take ASL 1, you do not need to take the ASL Placement Test.
