Dr. Eric T. Keeling served as an instructor in the Gordon Ford College of Business at Western Kentucky University. In addition to teaching business classes and sharing experiences with WKU students, he spent the past five years providing workforce development training, leadership development programs and training, and OSHA Outreach Training to local business and industry partners in the manufacturing sector. As the CEO and Founder of The Center of Innovation and Influence, LLC, Eric develops customized leadership development programs and workforce development training programs that focus on communication, teambuilding, leading change, leadership development, and culture. His passion for making a difference and pushing others to realize their potential is evident in his program curriculum. His approach to making connections, fostering relationships, and building trust through personalized consulting and coaching. Eric is a certified John Maxwell Trainer, Speaker, and Coach as well as a certified Maxwell Method of DISC Trainer and is a certified Maxwell Method of DISC Consultant.
Eric spent the first fourteen years of his professional career as a Professor and Applied Technology Division Chair with the Kentucky Community and Technical College System in Florence, Somerset, and Bowling Green, Kentucky. He transitioned into the Kentucky Department of Education as a principal in 2006 working in Morgantown, Russellville, and Bowling Green, Kentucky before retiring from the public education sector in 2019. Eric earned his A.S. Degree from KCTCS, B.S. Degree from WKU, M.S. Degree from EKU, Rank I Level I & Level II Principal Certification, KY Superintendent Certification, and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from WKU.
