Cassidy Caid has been designing, installing, and programming automation systems for over 10 years. Cassidy has a degree in mechanical engineering and is completing his thesis for a master’s degree in mechanical engineering at UofL. For the last two years, he has been involved with research at the Louisville Automation and Robotic Research Institute (LARRI) working with Dr. Dan Popa. He believes that industrial robotic automation will see a lot of growth in the near future, and there is a great opportunity to help businesses solve challenging problems. Outside of work, Cassidy’s favorite activity is riding an electric unicycle, so you might see him rolling around town!
