Training and Certifications (CITI, HIPAA, others)

You will be required to complete human subjects training and HIPAA training (http://louisville.edu/research/humansubjects/investigator-research-team-information/training/training.html). Make sure and complete the biomedical CITI training at https://www.citiprogram.org/Default.asp.  To complete the HIPAA Research training, please refer to the instructions for HIPPA training on the Privacy Office webpage at https://louisville.edu/privacy/training.

If your study requires blood samples/tissues/cells, you will be required to complete blood borne pathogen training at http://louisville.edu/dehs/train/bbp.html

All faculty and administrators must complete a disclosure of significant financial interest on an annual basis.  In addition, all individuals (staff, students, affiliates) involved in the design, conduct, performance or reporting of research must complete a disclosure of significant financial interest on an annual basis.
