  • Do your best to be present and find joy in your current situation. When graduation comes around the corner, take active steps to appreciate the day-to-day of the college experience. The smaller moments can oftentimes end up having the greater impact.
  • Faculty (and staff!) have all been college students at some point. Its critical to be proactive in establishing relationships and dialogues with the professionals around you as someone on this campus will ultimately improve your life. It’s a brave thing to put yourself out there.
  • It’s quite likely that you will leave UofL as a different person with different views than when you entered. That is something that should be celebrated.
