Don’t get bogged down with expectations—yours or anyone else’s.  Most students show up to college with some idea of what they want to do with their lives, but less of an idea of what they can do.  So, expectations have their place, but be open to the possibilities that open up in front of you.  You have the opportunity to learn something from everyone, so don’t be afraid to make new contacts and build relationships.  Also, get up when your alarm goes off.
