Online Graduate Student Orientation

    2021 New Graduate Student Orientation

    Welcome new UofL graduate students!

We are excited to have you join the graduate student community at UofL this fall, and look forward to connecting with you. As you begin your graduate education, we want to make sure that you have all the tools you might need to get started.

Please complete the Fall 2021 Graduate Student Orientation Module before classes begin. We’ve tried to tailor the New Graduate Student Orientation module based on feedback from last year’s – the first time we’ve been able to provide the opportunity. Based on this feedback, we invite you to complete the module that best matches how you are coming to your Graduate education:

      1. Fall 2021 New Graduate Student Orientation: this is the standard orientation that most of you will complete.
      2. Fall 2021 New Graduate Student Orientation for ONLINE ONLY graduate students: this is for graduate students who are in an online-only or primarily online program.
      3. Fall 2021 New Graduate Student Orientation for RECENT UofL UNDERGRADUATES: this is for graduate students who have graduated from UofL within the last 3-4 years.

The great news is that because of this new format, New Graduate Student Orientation is shorter, provides content that students always ask for that we can’t include in-person because of time limitations, and gives you a pretty accurate feel for the city of Louisville, the University of Louisville, and the Graduate School.
