Advising & Visits

COVID-19 Implications

With the restrictions of COVID-19, we are unable to host in-person visits or events in the school for the immediate future. For individuals seeking advice on applying to the DMD program, we recommend contacting our office for information at least a year prior to applying as visiting just before the cycle begins may limit an applicant’s opportunity to strengthen the application. Once an applicant submits their application, an opportunity to tour the dental school and/or meet with a counselor is only available if and when they are scheduled for an interview.

Advising and Visit Opportunities

COVID-19 UPDATE: This event has been cancelled for 2020. We will host an annual open house for students wishing to tour our facility and hear general information about our DMD program in May of each year.

COVID-19 UPDATE: All information sessions are temporarily cancelled. These sessions are for prospective, first-time applicants interested in learning more about our admissions process. A tour of the school is also included in this session. Information sessions are offered throughout the year. Contact our office to register for a session.

COVID-19 UPDATE: All advising requests will be managed virtually. If you are a prospective applicant and interested in application advising, please complete this form and a representative will contact you. We encourage prospective applicants to attend an information session for the most in-depth information about our program and application process but we understand the dates might not work for your schedule. Please contact our office to inquire about phone advising opportunities.

COVID-19 UPDATE: All shadowing is temporarily suspended. If you are over 18 years of age and interested in shadowing our current dental students in our clinic, please contact our office to schedule. Our clinic calendars vary each day and week, so please call at least 2 weeks prior to your preferred date so we can check for availability. Individuals are limited to shadowing three times.
