Muhammad Ali Scholars Retreat

The 2019 - 2021 cohort of Muhammad Ali Scholars kicked off the Fall 2019 semester with a very productive retreat! Along with getting an walk through of the new curriculum for the program, the scholars were able learn more about their upcoming journey with the institute. Here are some of the highlights from the retreat:

- Group dynamics facilitation from the Program Assistant, LaJa Hurt

- Difficult Dialogue Workshop from the Office of Diversity Education and Inclusive Excellence

- Learning about Muhammad Ali's Legacy from Darryl Young (Programming Manager of the Muhammad Ali Center)

- Exploring power dynamics and various types of oppression with the Assistant Director, Ashleigh Hazley
