Best practice for links and hypertext
Using icons or other indicators to alert users that you're leaving the current site
It is considered best practice to alert users, sighted or not, where they'll arrive when they click the link you provide. There are many options on indicators for these alerts. From an icon or arrow to simple text (as used below), a viewer is much more likely to understand how they arrived and how to return if you give them a "hint".
