Online Degree Tuition

At University of Louisville, the tuition for online degrees is the same for both in-state and out-of-state online students.

Graduate online course $714 per credit hour
Active-duty* service members $714 per credit hour – (minus) $74 per credit hour Active Duty Departmental Award**. This award is available for those who self-identify as active duty and who meet qualification requirements.
Reserve Component and Kentucky National Guard May be eligible for the Active Duty Departmental Award.

*Active-Duty is defined as on orders for 180 days or more in the United States Military.

**Important! The Active Duty Departmental Award of $74 per credit hour is NOT a tuition reduction applied before the student has enrolled. The award will be processed in the form of reimbursement AFTER the student has enrolled in the MEEMO program and will be reflected as such on the financial statement.

  • This award applies ONLY for students admitted to the Master of Engineering in Engineering Management Online (MEEMO) program for Spring 2016 or later terms.
  • The award will bring the cost per credit hour to $640 ONLY for Engineering Management (EM) courses.
  • MEEMO students taking non-EM courses will pay the regular military rate of $250 per credit hour.
  • Active-duty service members enrolled in other programs and taking EM courses will pay $640 per credit hour.

Financial Aid

Graduate students enrolled in the Master of Engineering in Engineering Management at UofL are eligible for federal financial aid in the form of unsubsidized Stafford Loans during an academic year (fall, spring and summer).  Typically the first step is to file the FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Graduate students do not qualify for departmental funding or financial aid (from J.B. Speed School of Engineering).
