As a member of the Cardinal community you will not only have the opportunity to be involved with service on campus but also in the city of Louisville. Our partnerships in and around the community are extremely important to each of us. In an effort for you to begin building that service practice into your everyday UofL experience we are challenging every new student and family member to bring a gently used or new children’s book to orientation. The books will be collected throughout all orientation sessions and then donated to reading programs and elementary schools throughout Louisville. Last year we collected over 1000 books. Our 2013 goal is to collect 3000 books. Get in the Cardinal Spirit and help us help children love to read at an early age.
Spanish speaking staff available. If you have a request for a Spanish translator please email: firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you receive your orientation confirmation.
