Term Instructor of German


As Beginning German Coordinator and German Advisor, I work closely with students in our beginning German sequence and provide advising to students enrolled in our German Minor program. I also provide advising to students at all proficiency levels interested in studying abroad in German-speaking countries.

Alongside my core professional responsibilities, I volunteer as Co-Chair of the Mainz Committee of Sister Cities of Louisville. In this capacity I recruit students for our Mainz-Louisville university exchange, maintain communication with our partners in Mainz and organize local events to discuss and learn about German culture and language.

I am also Co-Director for the KIIS Austria summer study abroad program, which regularly gives me the opportunity to introduce students to Bregenz, Austria.
