Zumba® Fitness was created in the mid-90’s by Colombian native Alberto “Beto” Perez, a celebrity fitness trainer and choreographer for International pop superstars. Beto paired the Latin rhythms with the red-hot international dance steps his clients loved and Zumba® Fitness was born!
Since Beto brought Zumba® Fitness to the US in 1999, it has become one of the fastest-growing, dance-based fitness crazes in the country, with people of all ages falling in love with its infectious music, easy-to-follow dance moves, and body-beautifying benefits.
Zumba Fitness Schedule
Day: Wednesdays
Times:
Intro: 5:15 to 5:30 PM
Basic Zumba: 5:30 to 6:20 PM
Dates: Jan 16- April 10 [excluding Mar 13]
Location: Crawford Gym – gymnasium

What to wear:
• Comfortable clothing
• Comfortable shoes with plenty of cushion and lateral support --PREFERABLY AEROBICS SHOES OR CROSS TRAINERS.
• Jazz sneakers are an option, too.
• RUNNING SHOES ARE NOT RECOMMENDED!
What to bring to class:
• Plenty of water
• A small towel
