Weigh to Go: is a 12-week class that promotes healthy lifestyle changes in the fields of exercise and nutrition. The class is designed to give you an accurate understanding of ways to integrate optimal health behaviors into your everyday life.
At the start of the class, your body circumference measurements will be taken, and your body fat percentages will be determined. These measurements will be taken at the end of the class as well, so that you can see your progress! Each week the class will begin with a weigh-in, followed by an educational session on nutrition or exercise recommendations for healthy and sustainable weight loss. We do understand that life and work responsibilities sometimes interfere, but for your success in this program, weekly participation is essential.
Class Dates:
Belknap: Wednesdays 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m., Porter Building (CEHD) Rm 106
- April 3-July 3
HSC: Mondays 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m., Room 2023, Nursing School
- April 1- July 10 (No Class Memorial Day)
Weigh to Go II:
This session is appropriate for weight maintenance or past WTG participants. This session is appropriate for weight maintenance or past WTG participants. This 12-week class will include pre/post measurements, weekly weigh-ins, and will take place on the same days and times as Weigh To Go. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to the weekly topic and join in class discussion, if they wish.
